Michael Lerner(June 22, 1941 - April 9, 2023) was an American actor, who from 1969, appeared in more than 150 roles in both feature films and television series, includingBarton Fink(a role for which he was nominated for an Academy Award),Elf,No Way Back (1995),Godzilla (1998), andLaw & Order: Special Victims Unit.
