Sondra Locke (1944-2018) was an American actress who was perhaps best known for her long term relationship with actor/directorClint Eastwoodfrom 1975 to 1989, and appearing in many of the filmsEastwoodeither starred or directed during the 1970's and 1980's, includingThe Outlaw Josey Wales,The Gauntlet,Bronco Billyand the 1983Dirty HarryfilmSudden Impact. In 1968, Locke made her acting debut inThe Heart Is a Lonely Hunter, a role for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She would later go on to direct several feature films, including 1990'sImpulse. She passed away at the age of 74 on November 3, 2018.
