Steve Kahan (1939-2019) was an American actor who was the cousin of the late directorRichard Donner, who cast the actor in several of his films, includingSuperman,Assassins,Conspiracy Theory16 Blocks, andScrooged. He is perhaps best known for his role as Captain Ed Murphy in all fourLethal Weaponfilms, all of which were also directed byDonner. He passed away in August of 2019 at the age of 79.
