Tommy Kirk (1941-2021) was an American actor well known for the numerous Disney-produced films he appeared in during the 1950's and 1960's, includingOld Yeller,The Shaggy DogandThe Absent-Minded Professor. He left acting in the Seventies and started a carpet cleaning business though he did appear in the occasional feature (mostly low-budget horror movies) throughout his later years. He was active on the movie nostalgia circuit and kept his ties with Walt Disney in his later years. He was 79 at the time of his death in 2021.
