Udo Kier(October 14, 1944 - November 23, 2025) was an internationally acclaimed German actor known for his striking character roles and his affinity for the eccentric. Beginning in the 1960s, he appeared in well over two hundred film and television productions, working in both European arthouse cinema and Hollywood. He became famous through his performances in cult and horror films such asFlesh for FrankensteinandBlood for Dracula, and later through memorable roles in works by directors like Lars von Trier and Gus Van Sant.
