Born in Chile, Tocopilla, in February 17 1929,Alejandro Jodorowskyis a spanish-speaking film director and actor known for his surrealist and bizzare films, which include his acid westernEl Topo (1970),The Holy Mountain (1970),Santa Sangre (1989), and perhaps his most well known work, his never made adaptation of Frank Herbert's "Dune", which would star Orson Welles, Salvador Dalí, and was to be scored by Pink Floyd, a grand feat of filming which sadly never made it past the concept art stage.
