Rahavard Farahani (Born 10 July 1983), known professionally as Golshifteh Farahani, is an Iranian-French actress. In 2008, she co-starred withLeonardo DiCaprioinBody of Lies. The Iranian government considered appearing in the movie to be an act of collaboration with American propaganda. She was also accused of violating Islamic law by appearing in the movie without a hijab. She has not been allowed to return to Iran since 2009. She has since appeared as the operative Nik Khan in the 2020NetflixfilmExtractionas well as its 2023 sequel,Extraction 2. She now lives in France.
