Kevin Conroy (1955-2022) was an American actor who is best known for his voice work as Bruce Wayne/Batman inBatman: The Animated Series, which kickstarted the long-running DC Animated Universe. He continued to voice the character throughout various animated series, movies, and video games, includingBatman: Gotham Knight,Batman: Arkham Asylum, andBatman: Arkham City, over the span of almost two decades, finally portraying the character in live action for the first time in 2019 in an episode ofBatwoman. He passed away due to intestinal cancer on November 10, 2022, at the age of 66. He had never publicly disclosed his illness.
